Chapter 2-"Aw, for Chrissakes!"
Begins at Page 7 where it says, " 'Buddy,' the mother called. Ends at Page 14 after the sentence from the previous page is complete.
Bigger comes back and gets scolded by his mother because Vera- his sister- fainted because Bigger shook the rat they had killed in front of her face. After leaving the house Bigger sees a poster that says "YOU CAN'T WIN". At the end of Chapter 2 bigger goes to the pool house.


Analysis
I think the reason Richard Wright put this in the book was to show that even in a world without slavery the words "YOU CAN'T WIN" shows that blacks are still being treated badly.
